There’s a lot to see in each any every sim, though to cover as much ground as possible I’m going to try to steer clear of homes *or things I think are peoples homes*.
A. Because it’s Rude to look in someone’s house without permission.
B. Because they might not want lots of people going into or looking at there home.
So I’m going to try and visit and blog public places.

I’m sorry if I miss out some public places *since I can only spend about 18mins at each sim to be able to cover enough space, its easy to miss things*. Or if I got your home confused with a place made open to the public, please let me know and I’ll take it down.

Anyway, if your going to explore there’s places your self please note I am NOT associated, affiliated or what ever with any of these land owners so I do not represent them or/and there land/place. I’m just trying to have some fun exploring and sharing it with the people who want to read my blog as well as trying to show some of the diversity in SL.

Please please respect the land owners and there builds/land.

If any land owners don’t like there place written about please let me know and I’ll remove it. Though I have tried to only write about public places.

Also I’ve decided to paste a photo on a map to show the places to create a huge photo map of images of the Sims.
Attempting to get as much in as I can. I’m going to take it from the south center so that I can align it up to the map as much as possible hopefully this will develop over time.

Anyway on with the blog.

1.
Fillip
Mature, Coast line mixed water/land, linden protected government, ground cover: Coral rock stuff.

The sim is mostly made up of one island surrounded by water a little out crop of land which connects onto the mainland.

Irie Life - Sculpture and Art Gallery. snappy1

Tped into a pink bit on the map and it’s a big cool looking completely purple building. Kind of retro skybox. (i so love purple)
Small store. I just liked it because it’s purple and looks kind of cool :).
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Fillip/88/174/30/?title=Fillip

Next door is a little club no clue really, though it has a really freaky druid statue in that moves and pokes its tongue out.

2.
Brindle.
Mature, Coast line mixed water/land, linden protected government, ground cover: Coral rock stuff.
Small Island in the center and a southwards stretch of land.
A Towering open fronted mall is here with a kind of gothic arches.

Little pier which seams to be part of a development in the next sim over ranunculus.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Brindle/136/31/25/?title=Brindle

3.
Ranunculus
PG kind of dry grass. Mostly flat.
It has a pretty little town with some shops and roads and a 50's dinner and club.

Also there’s a bookshop with lots of SL magazines, newspaper vendors, video clips and tutorials.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ranunculus/80/188/32/?title=Ranunculus

4.
Serapim
Mature, dry grass and coral coastline
Mostly homes. Though a very nice coast line.

5.
Quaker.
mature, dry grass and coral coastline. mostly flat with a lindon land streach running through it.
a lot of homes here again.
most noteably a place called 'diamond cove'

6. Valerian.
mature, dry grass and coral coastline. mostly flat with a lindon land streach running through it.
a lot of empty land.

7.
Peacock
PG protected water void.
bring us to the edge a compelety empty void water sim.

8.
Ambrosia.
mature, dry grass and coral coastline. mostly flat with a lindon land streach running through it.
in this sim theres a Resort just off the coast called gold coast resort. a nice boardwalk and docks.
ohhh and a big wind turnbine. hehheheh Green energy for the win ^_^.
i wanted to ride it but it wouldn't let me :(.

9.
Walnut.
mature void water sim.

10.
Spiny
mature void water sim

11.
Piegler
mature void water sim

12.
Consular
mature, dry grass and coral coastline, the land has a steep curve going up into a mountain/hillside here.
There’s a church place with honeymoon suits and a church. Nice view across the void ocean Sims. Build on a fake island.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Consular/224/239/21/?title=Consular

13.
Oakwood.
Mature, dry grass and coral coastline, the land here gose back down into a gental curve and the lindon land hugs the coast along the sim following the edge of the coast.
quite preaty again mostly houses and very preaty place.

14.
Scoopwing
mature, dry grass and coral coastline, the land flat.
a large greek ruin lies here. its a mall but it still looks kinda cool.
lots of broken pillars, lots of roads and water features.

15.
Sedge
mature dry grass and coral.
a tiny bit of coast.
crooked house.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sedge/105/29/67/?title=Sedge

16.
Huckleberry
mature, dry grass and very small amount of coral coastline, the land flat.
Darmer Ranch and saloon.
nice small wild west ranch.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Huckleberry/163/7/90/?title=Huckleberry

17.
Mournful
mature, dry grass and coral coastline, the land flat.
*VERY VERY nice place* incredible huge castle.

Wonderful build very nice to explore and very nice for a wedding or party or a romantic date. incredible to explore.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mournful/39/167/93/?title=Mournful
Lots and lots of rooms towers, ballroom... huge place.
Gothic archways and lovely stain glass. A very impressive build.

Trisha land...
A place for if the romancing in the castle goes well or perhaps honey moon. It’s a public... ehem 'pose ball' place. If you catch my drift, I’ll try to keep this as PG as possible.

Anyway,
A lot of little buildings pose balls and freebies. I mean a LOT of freebies. This place is littered with boxes on the ground harbor.

Then there’s a house kind of thing with THOSE kinds of pose balls in and even a 'how to note card' for the people who really are new to it... heheh even some notes on 'missing appendages'... And how bigger isn't always better...

Anyway enough of that serous note they do give out very good advice and promote Safe pose balling, which sadly most of the time isn't written about enough, though kind of common sense to some, some people do need to be reminded:
"Never give out RL information"
"Don't do things here that would be illegal in the country where you live"
"If you feel uncomfortable, leave"
"If you are the subject to harassment be sure to report it to the lindens".

I for one applaud her for sending out a good positive message about safe usage. We are all adults here, but some people who are new to SL and especially people new to virtual communities and the internet might not know.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mournful/222/113/21/?title=Mournful

Crazy idea of traveling the whole of an SL continent. Crazy idea and one my sl friend told me to go try sculpting instead… but he always says that about my ideas, though I normally always have crazy ideas anyway so he’s properly right.
Might take me a 2-3 may be 4 month. But hay I’m a board games programming student with nothing else to do when i'm not working on my degree.

So, I’ll be bloging my entries and explorations and more then likely blunders along the way.
I’m going to mark off places I’ve gone purple and places I am investigating in the entry in pink.

Expedition supplies.

I’m going to need a vehicular which is:

Good at crossing Sims.

Low prim.

Easy to navigate and maneuver.

Doesn’t feck up at lot.

can deal with lots of terrain.

As well as copyable *don’t want to hit the first do not enter and realize you can’t go any further*

Easy to get in and out off too.

Preferably purple too… because purple is nice ^_^ being a camper van would also be nice

Its too dam slow and I’m look lazy to walk around in all of sl…
Oh and also a wearable item with a SLURL maker in so that I can make a SLURL of interest places.

Also I’m going to need a map of SL.. one on my pc… so that I can mark off sims I’ve been to so I can systematically. I’ve chosen to go for one of the smaller mainland continents.. though it was an explore in itself to find the name of it.

You’d think they would put the names of them somewhere near them… anyway.. some discussion on if the old ones even have names or not. No clue. But for the sake of it referring to this as “Heterocera Atoll” as referrered to at http://www.slhistory.org/index.php/Heterocera_Atoll and Caledon Academy of Virtual Wizar, Caledon Highlands http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Highlands/179/225/49/?title=Caledon%20Highlands .

Back to my ride.
Tempting to fry around in a tardis or chittychittybang bang or even my Terra CLAWW or of course a light cycle. Found one thing which morphs.. but I hated the look of it.. so I decided against it. I think I’m just going to use an array of them for now. Till I find something good. *if anyone finds a good vw camper which is cheap please let me know*.
Anyway tomorrows the trails.

Violetann Petion
